The second LTTA, Short-term exchange of groups of pupils – C5 “GOod PrICTices” took place from
December 5 to December 9, 2021 in The Vocational School of Trade and Catering, Vratsa, Bulgaria. It
brought together participants from 2nd General Lycium of Xanthi,Tzavela 10, 67131 Xanthi, Greece;

4 STUDENTS + 2 TEACHERS per school were attending except Turkey- 1 teacher
Our Hungarian partners attended the meeting virtually through Google meet.
On the first day
We welcomed the guests in the host school. Students spent their time together with host students using
English as communication language. Host students introduced their schools, cities , educational
systems and countries to the other students and guests of the local community. Each team introduced
itself.
On the second day
After lunch Bulgarian teachers presented the Good practice of Teaching practice in a learning
enterprise, lesson in a traditional way in the online learning platform Moodle. All the students worked
in the platform. Teachers were collecting and familiarizing with possible ICT tools for the Good
practice, working in multicultural groups with the help of accompanying teacher.
In the afternoon we went to Hizhata /The “ Hut”/ which is located 10 min up some alleys or 100 odd
steps from Hristo Botev square. It is locals’ favourite activity and offers spectacular views of Vratsa. In
addition to the views, we had a coffee break from the workshop.
On the third day
Each group made a presentation about the founded and chosen ICT tools (their usage, possibilities and
local teachers presented the Good practice – lesson with ICT tools.
“Moodle”
In the afternoon We visited The Belogradchik Rocks (Bulgarian: Белоградчишки скали,
Belogradchishki skali) wich are a group of strangely shaped sandstone and conglomerate rock
formations located on the western slopes of the Balkan Mountains (Stara Planina) near the town of
Belogradchik in northwest Bulgaria.
In September 2008, Belogradchik was named as one of twenty finalists by the European Commission
as a “European Destination of Excellence.”In January 2009, the Belogradchik Rocks were named as
Bulgaria’s nomination in the campaign for the New 7 Wonders of Nature.
On the fourth day
Local teachers presented the Good practice – lesson with ICT tools.
“Quizizz”
Teachers discussed the lesson, lesson plan, documentation, possible adaptations of the lesson.
In the afternnon, loaded with energy, students and teachers explored Vratsa.
On the fifth day
Local teachers presented the Good practice – lesson with ICT tools.
“Learning Apps”
All the participants gave feedback of the meeting with an evaluation google form.
The teachers summarized and compied the Report of the meeting.
In the evening an international evening was organized during which all students became ambassadors
of their traditional customs. Certification.
This LTTA helped students to:

  • enhance team working skills helping them to better integrate on the global labor market
  • develop their ITC skills
  • leading different lifestyles
  • understand European common frames of working
  • experience other educational systems by attending real lessons
  • share information and experience
    Accompanying teachers in the short-term exchanges of groups of pupils:
  • got in touch with other educational systems
  • shared experiences to increase students motivation
  • enhanced their foreign language communication skills
  • learnt how to use European tools for school improvement
  • discover European indicators for school effectiveness
  • reinforced the relations between school – families/ parents’ association – policy makers
