Zsigmond Móricz Reformed College, Secondary Grammar, Technical, Elementary School and Kindergarten is the largest educational institution in Kisújszállás. In the academic year of 2018/2019 the number of pupils is more than 1000. The institution is supervised by the Reformed Church of Kisújszállás. The number of the students in our secondary school is more than 500. Students can attend a 4-year grammar school or a technical school training program. The school offers Information Technology, Economics, Commercial and Police trainings in secondary technical education and a 5- year language preparatory training. Students end up with a state school leaving exam. Those who finish their secondary education can continue their studies in our school in the fields of Information Technology or Logistics in a 2-year training program to get a trade. In the future, we plan to continue and broaden the above mentioned trainings with up-to-date and modern methodology and technology and well-trained teachers to make them fit into the educational curricula of the school, in addition that our students can use their creativity and imagination with the help of their teachers.

Profesionalna Gimnazia Po Targovia i Restorantyorstvo, Vratsa / BULGARIA

Vocational School of Trade and Catering is a modern school, in which 382 students are being thought in different professions by 28 qualified teachers. Professions in which students are taught today in PGTR are “Cook”, “Catering” and “Trade Representative”, “Technician technologist in the production of meat, meat products and fish” and “Technician technologist in the production of bread”. With different guises and different names over the years, our vocational school has always been in tune with the tourist and economic needs of the region. The Vocational School of Trade and Catering in the town of Vratsa has a rich and complex history, whose roots are lost somewhere in the beginning of the century, when the young Bulgarian state more tangibly feels the need of well trained staff. The school has classrooms, three computer studies, a training restaurant, two teaching kitchens, spacious library, a gym, a renovated gymnasium and a lecture hall. Our students prove their knowledge and skills in a number of competitions and exhibitions. Their realization as specialists after completing school is well-known in the region. A large number of the graduates continue their education at Universities. Some of them even acquire knowledge on how to use their skills in cooking, catering, trade to develop their own business and self-employment during their lessons in Management and Entrepreneurship. We focus on innovation, creativity and teamwork. The students held part of their school and production practice lessons in big restaurants and foodservice establishments, hotels and leading tourism travel agencies and large commercial companies, offices of trademarks where acquire competencies in entrepreneurship and tourism, and this creates an opportunity to increase their initiative. The Vocational School of Trade and Catering contributes to improve the adaptability and competitiveness of the labour force in accordance with the dynamics of the labour market through the implementation of a system of lifelong learning and providing quality vocational education.

2nd General Lycium of Xanthi, Xanthi / GREECE

The 2nd Lyceum of Xanthi is a secondary comprehensive school in Northeastern Greece and consists of 550 students aged 15 -18 years old and 50 teachers. The school offers general knowledge through specific syllabus adapted to a fixed cross curriculum formed by the Greek Ministry of Education. Students are taught a vast variety of subjects, such as Literature, History, Philosophy and Linguistics, Foreign languages, Sciences, Sociology, Religion, ICT and PE. The graduates can also take part in university entrance exams. Additionally, extracurricular activities and the participation in several cross-border programs (Erasmus, ETwinning and school fraternizations) aim to strengthen the European dimension of the school. Furthermore, the social background of our students’ families and the multiculturalism are the main elements that highlight the specific social context of our school. Our school, established in“1883”, is not only the first commercial vocational high school of İstanbul but also of Turkey. Since our school is among of the exclusive ones which are over 100 years old, it has great experiences on education and academic knowledge.There are about 600 students(14-18) coming from the town and the surrounding areas, who are chosen according to their success levels of a national exam being made after primary education. We have 27 teachers- 8 of them from professional and 21 of them culture teachers, 4 deputy managers. In our school, mentorship service has been given to the teachers from İstanbul’s prestigious universities. Apart from school curriculum, career development of students are carried out in integrated approach with our career support center and alumni association. In addition, in terms of trainee request, our school is the most demanding vocational and technical school in İstanbul. Students can select their own training establishments. Zespol Szkol Ogolnoksztalcacych w Rumi, Rumia / POLAND

The Complex of Comprehensive Schools in Rumia – state school is run by the Municipal Commune. The complex consists of: Primary School No. 9 and Upper Secondary School No. 2. The school has 1160 students at the age between 6 to 18 years and 110 teachers. The school is in the city with ca. 50 thousand citizens, located in the north of Poland, at the Baltic sea. The school main activities cover the local and regional scope, as well as the national and international scope (competitions, contests, projects). One of the school tasks is continuous extension of the educational offer on the basis of labour market research in terms of changing conditions on this market, concerning the employment options, and, on the basis of such information, classes with different profiles are opened: maths, sports (swimming, volleyball), psychologicalpedagogical, defence-sports (innovative educational program, class under the auspices of the Polish Naval Academy in Gdynia).
